Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Azita is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled their home country to the US and were granted the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. She was raised within Northern Virginia and is the second child in a family with two older sisters. Ghanizada began her career on television by being featured in National Commercials. Ghanizada was awarded the award in recognition of her role in Chiara, the main character of Laura Neri's 2004 movie A Kiss on the Nose. She appeared as an actress in numerous television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. The most recent role she has played is a role as a support for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) - based on the science fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada started her acting career in 2008 when she was a part of the team for General Hospital. She was cast in the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. In the second season of Nightshift she played holistic specialist the Dr. Saira Bastra. Ghanizada appeared as Kelly who was the Prada girl on HBO's Entourage.
